I've Rebranded: what's next?
After putting so much care and attention into the development of your new brand, sharing it with the world can seem like a daunting task. We’ve shared a few tips to help you launch your wonderful new brand and maximise your audience.
TAKE TO SOCIAL MEDIA
Use Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in the run up to your launch to start building interest. Sharing screen-grabs from your website, photos of your new stationery, or mockups provided by us as part of your brand creation is a great way to entice your audience. If you’ve had new photos taken, posting these would be a great way to show your new image in a more personal way.
Following your launch, share content frequently and engage with other users. The Instagram algorithm prioritises content from users that like, comment and interact with other accounts regularly (amongst other things, but the algorithm is so complex that’s for a whole other blog post). Basically, it’s important to not be passive on these platforms. Try not post every day in the same format. Test out new features as soon as they are released, like Instagram Highlights and GIFS. Vary your hashtag groupings and use the location feature. Share, connect, engage. You never know who your posts might be picked up by.
INVEST IN PRINT
When launching your brand, it’s easy to focus purely on digital outlets and neglect the importance of print. Branded letterheads, business cards, and compliments slips can make a huge impact on how your brand is perceived outside of the digital world. So, it’s important to invest some time in having beautifully designed and textured printed material created. Your customers will love receiving it.
Having a batch of quality business cards on hand to dish out is a great way to help get your business out there. Plus, they can act as a physical representation of your brand values. For example, is sustainability and the environment central to your ethos? Why not opt for paper made from recycled coffee cups? The world is your oyster when it comes to print, so get in touch to talk paper weight, embossing and duplexing options.
KEEP IT CURRENT
You’ve had a wonderful new website built, now let’s start using it to its full capability. Blogging is important to help keep your website looking fresh and current and, from a more technical point of view, helping to improve your SEO. Having an up to date blog feed tells users that you make an effort to share meaningful posts, whilst also telling search engines that your site is consistently refreshed with new content. Blogging will help you to appear higher in search engines and help you to engage with your audience better. Double win. Also use integrated website features to send out on-brand mailings to your subscribers with information about new blog posts, promotions and top tips.
